Jennifer Colón

Jennifer Colón is a Brooklyn born multidisciplinary artist. Her diverse spectrum of creative services includes costume design, creative direction, celebrity wardrobe styling, talent management, and brand curation.

As a first-generation immigrant and daughter of a seamstress and pattern maker, Jennifer’s love for all things fashion and creation runs deep serving as the inspiration and foundation of the Delicate Savage brand.

Since graduating from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in fashion merchandising and a concentration in art, Jennifer’s entrepreneurial spirit has allowed her to establish and grow her career as a freelance artist working across the country from NYC to LA over the last 15+ years.

Her career began at a uniform shop on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn where she established collaborations with local vendors to curate, produce, and direct her high school’s first fashion show. She would then go on to join the production team for multiple shows at NYFW with the likes of Anna Wintour, Serena Williams, Kim Kardashian, and Lala Anthony. Jennifer has also collaborated to support the wardrobe styling of high-profile clients such as TI, Jaime Fox, Forest Whitaker, Jeezy, Justin Timberlake, Nati Natasha, Wyclef, and Nigel Lythgoe to name a few.

Jennifer has designed costumes for HBO’s Game of Thrones Comic-Con, PBS, 7-Up, Samsung, Sprint, and Nickelodeon. She’s partnered with industry-leading creatives to style, direct, and design costumes for productions such as So You Think You Can Dance, the MTV VMAs, BET Awards, HFR, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Billboard.

Jennifer’s ability to navigate her career with an equal balance of grace and a Brooklyn bred hustler’s mentality inspired the creation of her trademark brand name. Delicate Savage represents the duality of modern-day femininity. Jennifer hopes that her work inspires and serves as a celebration of multidimensional women able to thrive confidently in any arena they choose to enter.
